Why is detachable mechanism
so complicated and bulky looking?
With the growth of the tablet market, detachable 2-in-1 PC was introduced to advance the PC industry as an ideal balance of mobility and performance. However, a lot of systems have complicated convertible mechanisms that require 2-handed operation and complex usage.
We developed a unique attachment of the tablet on the hinge portion with a magnetic extrusion. The tablet is securely attached but also easily pulled off with one hand, and can be re-attached in a reversed position to become a higher performance tablet.
